Hello Goodreads! I am sorry that I have neglected you for so long! Okay, I admit that I am finding your interface a little difficult to navigate, but bear with me and I shall get there eventually!
2016 promises to be a good year for me. Much of last year was spent writing material that I am looking to place over the next twelve months. Expect to see my work hitting the page and a stage near you soon!
I hope that you will join me on my journey as I work towards my goals. This year see’s me looking to up my game. My writing has improved immensely since “The Soul That Screamed” and I cannot wait to get my latest released.
So, what is there to look forwards to in 2016?
Aside from my super-secret debut novel (which I aim to place with a top agent very soon,) you can expect to see the release of my third collection, “Neverlight” appearing via a fantastically placed and well-respected press very soon…more news as and when it can be revealed.
There is also an upcoming Sci-Fi Novella titled “Black Zero” to look forwards too, and my coming of age novelette “Under The Tree.” Again, more news as and when it becomes available.
Stage wise you can expect to see –
“The Release of Theodore Marlow” – produced and aired by Shoestring Radio Theatre, San Francisco, 2016. Aired across 111 US radio stations. Jan 20th/27th 2016
“The Holding” – performed by Bold As Brass productions as part of the Norths Staffordshire One Act contest, 2016
“The Holding” – performed as part of Wordplay by Theatrelab and Bath Spa University, 2016
“Penkhull Paranormal” – performed as part of Leystone Itch Blind Readings @ All You Read Is Love, Leystone, 9th January, 2016.
I am thrilled to have these opportunities presented to me considering I only began to write for the stage last February. Writing for the stage has become a real passion of mine – nothing feels better than seeing your creations coming to life before a receptive audience.
Workshop wise you can catch me at Cheadle Library on Saturday 30th January, giving a series of script workshops themed around The Great War.
Then on March 14th, I shall be presenting a talk based around my work to the Alsager branch of The Univeristy of the Third Age.
So, much to work towards, savour and enjoy!
Happy 2016 to you all, and thank you for your continued support.
