Sledge-lit. November 21st, 2015

Sledge-lit, my first convention (and hopefully one of many,) passed with little in the way of personal drama. Though I suffered great amounts of anxiety in the run up to the big day, (partly due to the fact that I’d committed to hosting a workshop AND to appear on a discussion panel) I think I represented myself in a largely positive light.

The real highlight of the day was meeting the countless authors and readers that I had only previously interacted with via social media. Everyone was welcoming and chatty, and this particular author’s nerves soon calmed.

I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Alex and his team for organising such a wonderful event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and hope to appear amongst the fold again soon.
